Another early morning in the Waschsalon without WiFi, so I am blogging on my iPhone again.

I’ve already had a good breakfast of two hard boiled eggs, transported to the Waschsalon via a neato metal bento-style box I received via my membership to MightyNest.

I was able to do 50 minutes on the trainer last night. I even gathered a couple of items that will be headed to Goodwill soon; my target is to collect twenty or more items. If I continue to whittle down my possessions I will eventually reach my goal. And I have a very long way to go…

Dinner at Betsy’s was good. I had already made it a meat day by eating an gyro at lunch with my buddy Hank, so Betsy’s “Hungarian Goulash” made it a double-meal meat day. It was the perfect comfort food for a cold evening.

  1. There will be quite a lot of iPhone blogging next week as my mother’s house does not have internet service, so I will be reliant on cellular.

And, I made the tough decision to skip a trip to Raleigh at year’s end because it’s just too much travel for me in a short timeframe. However, your eyes will not deceive you when you see that Wee Little Bit has registered for “Cheddarhead”.

Can you not use your phone to make an internet hot spot for yourself?

      • Steve says:

Now Stacy, don’t point out an obvious technology to “Mr. Technology”! (hell, even retro grouch Me using my phone as a hotspot)

I have the ability to use my phone as a hotspot, but I never have. Guess I’d need to google how to do it, if I ever need to.

        • Stacy Fox says:

LOL! I’ve only had to use it a couple of times (when work couldn’t wait and I had no connection) but dang that’s some handy technology. 🙂

      • I believe cheap-ass AT&T charges extra for that. And, I am on a grandfathered “unlimited data” plan, so I don’t want to change anything.

  2. I saw that the DOT has turned the corner of Argonne and 7th into an All Way stop. However, because it is an offset intersection means you have to stop twice on Argonne. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Doesn’t anyone at the DOT think about this shit?

Somehow, my workout at lunch yesterday decided to light the fuse on a gout flair-up. It felt as if my ankle was swollen, but did not appear so. Some ice, Debbie bringing me dinner and some vet wrap this morning has me “almost walking”.

Looked into buying passes to the aquarium or zoo for my grand-nieces and nephews. Both either require specific times for tickets (G.A.) or for the tickets to be used within 2 weeks (Z.A.) Neither will get my business, as I would not even guess a schedule for that bunch.

Debbie is now day tripping to ride, as the ground was too wet yesterday to be safe. Hopefully Ceili and Phinney are good and they have a fun day.

So – tonight is the Chattahooligan Christmas ramble around Alpharetta. Its gonna be interesting since its gonna be cold. We have our Heat Miser & Snow Miser costumes ready.
(sorry -couldn’t resist adding the So)

    Hungarian goulash sounds tasty.

    • Stacy Fox says:

LOL at your “So” — we should so be doing that all the time now.

Can’t wait to see your photos Barb!
