Last night I joined Bonnie and her hubby for a trip up to Buford for trivia. In all the years that I’ve played trivia I’ve never had a night where I didn’t contribute a single answer — until last night. I guess the only positive thing I can say about my “participation” is that I also did not sway the team from a correct answer. 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸ Even without my help the team was in first place going into the final answer, but unfortunately we got it wrong and three other teams leapfrogged us. I did manage to eat and drink too much, so today I will be limiting my intake and trying to get a little exercise.
This morning I will be out with the sunrise doing some choring in WLF as well as mowing front lawn before it gets too hot… which it will.

Up early to take Debbie to meet coworkers as they head to Dallas for a “girls retreat”. Apparently, there was credit at a resort they couldn’t get back so decided to have a get away. I’m batching it till Friday! Yippee.
It was fcking hot when I rode yesterday. It was only 14 miles, but I was done by the time I got home. And I went out later to wheel the trash to the road and it was lovely out. A shame I would have only had about 45 minutes of light…
Sketchy internet yesterday and starting out a bit rough today. Annoying.
In the orifice for a while tomorrow to meet the new contractor and give him the tour of the network. Then come home to feed horses…

Yeah, somehow the humidity broke last night? When we walked out of the restaurant it was really nice outside.
I’m so tired of “sponsored posts†(ads) and now accounts that it is suggests that I follow, that it might be time for me to boot Instagram from my phone. Ideally I’d love to only see a timeline of posts put up by the people I Follow, and I can understand the ads, but the rest of the nonsense pulled by IG/FB is annoying to me.
Fixed 2 screen doors yesterday, the replacing of 1 screen was a nightmare. But, Allan got my brother to help & they got it done. Replaced a wooden stop out of our porch too, that was easy (except to get the 3 16’ 2x4s to the house, Allan had to buy some tie down straps)
Other then that, just fun with the parents…..

Saw a guy the other day with vinyl siding in the back of his truck, and into the rear glass and further into the cab of the truck. Oddly, he was using a tie down strap and not just holding on.
