Oh look, another busy day ahead. Tuesday is generally my quiet day, but today will not be a regular Tuesday for me. But first…

Yesterday I spent a lot of time poking around WLF, mostly pulling tomato plants and chopping them into small chunks for the compost barrel. I also transplanted some lettuce plants, and have everything a watering.

After showering and eating lunch I settled onto the futon to watch a lot of tv and YouTube videos, and pay my health insurance along with other paperwork. I was thrilled so see that a new season of “The Great British Bake Off” was on Netflix, so I watched it. Around 6pm I started getting ready to go to last night’s Moonlight Hash.

The hash started in Cabbagetown, and I guessed the ending at 97 Estoria correctly. I was guessing correctly a lot last night, which scares me since it means I was thinking a lot like Cockpit 😂, and somehow managed to be FRB. 🤯 If you would have seen my Strava recording you wouldn’t be surprised that I was FRB since Strava stopped recording my movement less than a mile into the 3.5 mile trail so it looked as if I flew from Oakland Cemetery back to 97 Estoria. At Estoria I had a beer and surprisingly never got around to ordering food. I did eat some of someone’s tater tots, and then heated some frozen garlic bread when I arrived home.

Once I get done with the blog post I will be going out to WLF to water. After quick choring I will be showering and the loading up the M6 with recycling to be taken to CHaRM. From CHaRM I am going to do some reccying for the next Black Sheep.

Okay, after typing that I realize that I need to start all of it now.

Hope you have a happy and healthy day.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 185.8 pounds (+0.6 from last week’s weigh-in). Dangen!

Do I need to remind you that your weight gain is likely due to the weekend of debauchery… or I mean camping this past weekend?

First off, not good news from the dermatologist… well, at least from his cute PA. She didn’t like the looks of it and took a sample to send to the lab. Once that comes back in a few days, I get to schedule the real doc to do his best and cut that sucker out. No worries.

My ride last night on the CX bike covered one of my normal paved and unpaved routes, but part of the unpaved also had lots of fresh gravel, making it harder to ride. It also produced a slow leak in my front tire, which required 3 stops to pump (claps hands) it up. I had a spare (of dubious origin) and as it was still sorta holding air, I rode on. I did call Debbie to check on her whereabouts, but she had only just left the orifice, so was still a good 20 minutes away.

In the orifice myself today to meet the AT&T tech prior to a circuit upgrade. Then to a Games meeting tonight.

Good luck, Steve, earlier this year I had to have Mohs surgery to get cancer taken off of my chin. The preliminary area taken by the dermatologist wasn’t nearly deep enough to get it all. So, I can very much relate to your experience.

Sunrise wasn’t until 7:25 or so, so they didn’t wake us up too early (I was already awake unfortunately, bunk bed with a hard pillow made sleeping tough.)
Breakfast was tasty, now to get everything together & get hiking back to the cars.
At least this 5 miles is mostly downhill.
    Met some interesting people.

Tweaked my back so this hike is going to be interesting. Ibuprofen will be my friend today.

Home sweet home, such beautiful weather to hike back from the Hike Inn. Food was really good, the people there that we met were entertaining enough, really enjoyed the past 2 days.
Back is messed up, so I actually made a chiropractic appt for tomorrow. Heading to Iowa Friday, so if I don’t get good vibes from that doc, I’ll look into an ortho appt when I get back. Its been bothering me some for a while, so time to figure out what’s wrong.
