The sun was shining, the temperature comfortable, no real fear of getting a ticket presented itself, not a single accident occurred ahead of me, and yet my journey home wasn’t fun. For unexplained reasons I suffered (am suffering) a painful pinched nerve in my neck, making turning my head to the right painful. I only stopped in north Florida to pee and eat snack for lunch, and at Buc-ee’s to pee and fill the M6’s tank with gas. I was at the ITP Estate by 5:30pm.

I was home in time to make it to Moonlight, but was too tired, the weather was chilly, and my neck pain too great, to go.

Unemployed me is very different than the one who used to make a good salary. If I were still making money I’d be the proud owner of a Buc-ee’s “ugly sweater” as well as numerous other items from the roadside Mecca. However, I considered my finances as well as the amount of other people inside the temple and walked out with an empty bladder and empty hands.

Because I have arranged an HVAC maintenance appointment for some time between 2:00pm-5:00pm I have had to rearrange my plans for today. The new plan is to get some manual labor in WLF when the sun shines, and be done a little after lunch so that I can clean up prior to the technician’s arrival.

Tonight? Not sure. If nothing materializes I suppose that I will stay at home and catch up on “The Great British Bake Off” or YouTube videos.

Hope that your week has started well and that you are remaining healthy.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: I have weighed and recorded my weight but decided not to publish my gain because more than half of my week was spent eating too much and not getting exercise.

Allan came home from work & decided to come back to bed, we didn’t wake up until 9:30 or so. I guess we both needed some extra sleep.

Heading to the Australian Bakery for lunch shortly, Allan’s mom is hosting the monthly bunco game, and her theme is Australia. She going to order (or buy) a bunch of meat pies for the ladies.

Hope you neck is feeling better.

The museum is lovely and huge and essentially vacant.
It was a chilly ride down here and it’s gonna be warm on the way home so I will talk to you all tomorrow
