As I did very little yesterday I have little about which to blog. Apropos for the shortest day of the year, right?

COVID, cold weather, and laziness kept me home all day and night. I did manage to watch the final part of the “Get Back” documentary.

The USPS has failed me again. This time they were “unsuccessful” at delivering an Amazon purchase and are supposedly holding it at the post office “at the customer’s request”. Great, now I have to go to the post office during their busiest week because they can’t do their job.

Today I will be driving to Sandy Springs for a paid survey, feta cheese tasting. Along the way home I will stop to pick up some groceries for dinner.

Hope you are happy and healthy.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 186.8 pounds (-2.8 from last week’s weigh-in); 😅

  1. Well, I guess I should call the dogs off from attacking the post office. While making breakfast I thought I heard a mail truck driving the street. Lo and behold, my delivery was put in my mailbox.

  2. Bonnie says:

Barb, good luck today with your dental work! *Hugs*

  3. Bonnie says:

I will also be driving to Sandy Springs to taste feta. I would usually take MARTA but I should probably see if there is any place to purchase new eyeglasses up there, as well as I’m a bit nervous about MARTA and Omicron. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    • It appears that there is a Lens Crafters inside Perimeter Mall. There is also an Apple Store in case Santa needs to pick up HomePod Minis for exceptionally good boys on his list. 😂😂🤣

  4. Steve says:

Not much to report here. Dinner of Johnny’s pizza while seated at the bar. A 20 minute wait for a table! Yeah, no. All Christmas gifts wrapped.

Thinking of going to the car museum in Cartersville. Looks good, and there won’t be much happening outside today.

    Hope all goes well, Barb.

  5. Barb says:

2 hours & waiting….. so not excited about this dental crap.

    Have fun tasting feta cheese!

  6. Barb says:

Home & all novacained up. I can’t even drink yet. I tried, glad it was just water.
Sedation is the 2ay to go for this sort of thing. I don’t know if insurance will cover it. But I don’t even care, that 2 hours flew by.
This should be fun for a little while. (Not really)

    • Steve says:

Hang tough. They put me under for my wisdom teeth and I don’t remember a thing.

Back from Cartersville and the car museum. Worthwhile, heavy on postwar, fairly simple- the cars and a little bio and specs. Some unusual ones, Packard, Hudson, Frazier, Cord, Duensenberg…

    • Good luck with the recovery, Barb.

  7. Home from feta tasting. Even though I didn’t eat a lot, I am not sure I will be hungry for dinner.

Stopped at Kroger after a long drive home. Going to stay indoors for the rest of today.
