I woke late this morning, 7am! After I get done posting this blog I need to start choring so that I will be ready for my trip to Antarctica this weekend.
Last night I went over to Bonnie’s and help prepare our chili entry for the Great Black Rock Mountain Black Sheep Campout Chili Cookoff. Ours has no meat, of course, and no fake meat either, so we stand no chance of winning. LOL
If I haven’t lost the use of my fingers by Monday I shall return to this space to let you know how bizarre the weekend was for me.

I solved today’s Wordle in five attempts. After my third try I had four properly placed letters, so my fourth guess was someone which would confirm/eliminate letters which could be correct.

A nice steady half hour on the bike. I was reading after work and I thought to myself, “I’ll go for a run when I hear cuckoo hit 6 o’clock. When I saw it was 6:30, I guess I was so engrossed, I missed him.
WAZE alerted me to a CF on 75/85 this morning, so suggested 285 to 20. then as I’m rolling in 20, it says to get off at McDaniel! then get back on by the Capitol!! I was still here right on time. Gotta love technology.

Everyone will be too drunk to really have a proper chili cookoff result – so I’m sure your chili will be just as popular as the others.
We made a chicken casserole with left over rice from a Tasty China outing – bought a frozen broccoli with a cream or was it cheese sauce (from Aldi), instead of just the usual frozen broccoli. I think it came out pretty good. Delivered a small uncooked pan of it to the in-laws, ended up staying for a while to hear the “family” gossip. Our dinner was delayed until about 8pm due to that chat, since I didn’t put it in the oven until we got home.
Not upset at all we are missing Black Rock due to this weather. I was sad before, but now I’m not. Might do the Ah4 trail that ends at Tucker Brewing, with Brewery Road playing. who knows……..
Sal just texted that she & Cathy (aka Fore inch hole) are out for a walk & stopping by. I haven’t seen Cathy in forever.
Nice. It’s been a very long time since I have seen her or Butt Bob.
The new laptop is on the air! Now to get it completely tuned… at least my important websites (like this one) made the trip over!!
