Very busy day ahead of me today. Leaving the house at 6:30am, don’t expect to be back until after 5:00pm. And to think, this used to be normal…

I solved today’s Wordle in on my last attempt; my starter today was RINSE

Good luck today. It’s the next step toward reclaiming control. Give it time.

Wordle in 3 with CRONY, overthought the shaded squares in the Mini and needed 1:22 to right the ship. Heardle was a 1 second groaner, I could never hear that song again and it would be too soon.

I am making a triumphant return to my weekly group yoga class today. Hoping for clearance to ease my way back on the bike when I see the orthopedist on Monday.

    • Barb says:

what the hell was that wordle word –
David – I guess you could get it since you used CRONY as a start word.

Mini in 2:29 – I had to resort to the google for a vodka name.
and – I even got the Heardle song right away.

      • David says:

Barb, yes, starting with CRONY definitely put me in the hunt. The Wordle Bot didn’t lie when it said that was a good word to start with. Other words the bot likes as opening words include:

        CRANE
SLATE (which riffs on one of my go-tos, LEAST)
        CRATE
        SLANT
        TRACE

    • Walking in Lidl and Toto’s “Africa” is playing, this is a song I could never hear again and be happy about that.

  2. Huh. This was supposed to be a reply comment…

Thanks. I’m looking forward to it, and not, all at the same time.

I was unimpressed with today’s Wordle, probably because it took me six guesses.

Good on ya, and good luck.

  3. NYT Mini Crossword in 54 seconds. First time I did it on my iPhone, very different experience than iPad.

  4. AirPods Pro case charged to only 63% after being plugged in for over twelve hours. One year limited warranty expires on 6/15, you bet your ass one of my chores today is to visit an Apple Store.

Wordle in 4… Mini, I won’t talk about.

Miami trip cancelled. Power issues, or power supply issues. Waiting to hear back from my engineer. I guess we’ll try again at the end of the month due to my vacation and the FOMC change freeze.

George was wound up last night so I took him for a walk. We could barely get out of the carport as he appeared to be afraid of an empty Diet Dr. Pepper box. At least that’s what I saw. He does show signs of being scared of his own shadow sometimes.

Barb, when might I come by to get this spoke fixed, or is he busy fixing BRAG bikes?

Best of luck with the session…

    • I think that I might be the only one really struggling with Wordle today. I was uncertain going into my sixth guess, and the last letter was the only one still available which made sense to me.

      Thanks.

    • Barb says:

Steve – Bike wheel – Allan is at the station today (OT day), at Atl Cycling Friday day, Friday night I’d guess we will be home. Station again Saturday, no idea what we are doing Sunday. Monday afternoon/evening is probably open.

  6. Thinking about getting the M6’s emissions test done today. It’s seven weeks until my birthday, will the results still be valid? The Clean Air website recommends getting the test done 4-6 prior. I assume since I will renew well before my birthday that I should be okay?

    • Steve says:

Have you gotten that nice letter from the tax office yet? Until that’s in hand, I’d wait- then once you have it, pull the trigger on emissions and send it all in.

    • Barb says:

you can do emissions I think 3 months a head of time.
I need to get the Subaru done. I got the CRV tag ppwk, but not the Subaru. I wonder what’s up with that.

      • Steve says:

Could it be registered to Allan? Debbie has the truck and horse trailer, and I have the Mazda, the scooter, and the utility trailer that hasn’t left the farm in over 2 years.

        • Barb says:

nope – its my Subaru. I’m sure the ppwk will show up eventually. Allan has the truck, the moto.

    • Jenka says:

I also received a renewal email from DeKalb County (yay, email instead of paper!) and doing the emissions is on the agenda for this weekend. Can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I bought my car.

  7. Barb says:

Last night Kristina (aka Ramaho) and I went over to the Battery for a beer & dinner, but then after a couple beers, we decided to go to the Delkwood Grill by our houses instead. We will use it for a Moonlight hash someday – she had never been, so we decided she should check it out. I was telling her how a (horrible) movie called Dirty Grandpa was filmed there. It starred Robert De Niro & Zac Efron, and I feel like De Niro must have lost a bet and had to make that movie.

Besides that – work was half way busy yesterday, so it was a full day.

  8. Bob says:

Got all my stuff packed up for BRAG last night, I am SO ready to check out for a week. Although now I get to freak out for 2 days thinking about what I am forgetting to bring 🙂

Got Heardle in less than 1 second, it really only took one note.

  9. Debbie says:

Wordle in 4 starting with STEAR.

I have a migraine and a bad attitude today. lol

I spent a lot of time yesterday doing a last minute promo video for my project. I love last minute requests about as much as I love snakes.

Happy almost weekend! Paul I hope your session helps you kick off the weekend in a more hopeful mood.

  10. Jenka says:

Yesterday’s Wordle in 5, I just could not wrap my brain around the word!

  11. Killing it today. Can’t tell you all I have done by this point, so that I will have something to say tomorrow. Lol

  12. Steve says:

Ordered a summer riding jacket with a rain liner yesterday at 9AM. It is in my hands by 11, via normal UPS shipping. I love this country…

    I figure if I have rain gear, I won’t need it… and if I don’t….
