I solved today’s Wordle in six attempts; my starter today was GRIST
No weigh-in today. The mirror tells me that I have gained weight, but today I don’t need to know just how much weight that I have gained.
I believe today is “Giving Tuesday”. While far from destitute, I don’t have the funds to give away this year.
Wordle in 5 and it should have been fewer, I still don’t like the word.

I was wondering if the word was moist? but it isn’t – we had a discussion on why that word is now on the don’t use list. No one seems to know why.
No, and I thought I had it in 4. I did start with an odd word (TASTE) which likely didn’t help.
LOL, I can think of lots of reasons by MOIST should be on a do not use list. 😉
well – ok David, that is true – but it used to be used for so many things, & no one ever made a big deal about it.

I have been having the most amazing and wide-ranging conversations with so many people lately. My intuition has been on fire as well.
Welp, I guess I better get to work so that my career doesn’t get set on fire.
Saw the weather forecast (beautiful today, not so much tomorrow) and decided to putter around WLF. Not much growing this time of year for many reasons, but plenty of cleanup duties to be done.
I had a great 4 days off! With no responsibilities and nowhere to be, we slept a lot, binged TV, and ate a lot of food. We left the house twice, Friday afternoon we watched the UNC football game at Pure and Saturday we went to the General Muir for dinner. Otherwise: pajamas. Then yesterday at work was super hectic. It’s the cruel irony at my job that the most crucial meetings are scheduled on Monday mornings.
I am HATING the Duolingo update. Still doing it everyday but it suuuuuuucks. I have to slog through personal pronoun lessons that I did in the 7th grade and I do NOT need a refresher on.

its that time of year – not enough down time for me.
Big party this weekend with all our Parrothead friends – I need to start making a list of what I need to do.
I wish that I could predict my December schedule, like where I will be on certain dates so I could plan to try to have some fun.
Lunch break! Made a fake meat hamburger, which was delicious.
Hemming and hawing on whether I want to walk up to Midway Pub to watch the USA soccer match. Upside, potential fun; Downside, calories, cost, and not knowing anyone else who will be there.
It’ll be packed! I’m sure you’ll know someone. And anyway, for a match like this one everyone is friends.
Wussed out on going to watch game. To be fair I just finished puttering in WLF.
I thought the bank may have rolled a TV into the cafeteria to show the match, but no such luck.
