I am lying in bed, with little enthusiasm to go to STU due to the rain predicted. It may not be as hard and steady as I once predicted, but the thought of camping in the rain never thrills me. I’ll make the best of it, because other than not going I have no choice other than to do so.

I solved today’s Wordle in five attempts; my starter today was WEIRD

Wordle in 4, shoulda, coulda, woulda been 3 but for one letter. I started with BITCH and my second guess matched 4 letters but none in the right place. If I’d gone with my first instinct I would have had it in 3, but no, I had to overthink it. Story of my life.

Happy STU to all who celebrate.

You need to quit looking at the negative. The positive is you get to hang out with your peeps all week-end. 🙂 We’ll make the best of it and have some fun. Just don’t stumble down any steps. I personally love sleeping in the rain….maybe it’ll drown out all the snoring. Wordl in 4 starting with STORM. See the STU peeps later today!

Had a friend stay over last night and we stayed up until like midnight chatting, so I am draaaaagging today. Luckily, today is my Friday because I hit my limit on vacation hour accrual. I accrue two days per month so I took tomorrow and Monday off. Monday Kevin has sinus surgery, so technically I should have used a sick day, but whatever. We are heading up to the cabin tomorrow morning.

Wordle in 6, after getting 2 letters and too many options.

Misting rain here. Have to be out the sunroof to start the race today so this should be fun. Yesterdays circuit race was fun but we had to hangout until the judges were done with all results before we could leave. We have 2 vans to haul the 2 crews so options are limited.

I’ll be much busier today at the front of the race than I was at the back yesterday- and apparently, wet.

    On the road.
This camper is longer & heavier.
Fun times with traffic in the ATL.
I’m thinking the rain will hold off.

    • Jenka says:

You guys go around the perimeter or down 75 to 20? Just curious. (Asking which route you’re taking is an inherent Massachusetts trait, I have no idea why.)

      • Barb says:

I look at all options, but usually thru downtown to 20 is better.
285 near 400 on the north is a construction nightmare. 285 on the west side to transition to 20 can be a nightmare. It’s Atlanta- all routes suck.

Wordle in 2 staying with BEAST! Love a lucky guess!

Baby watch is stressing me out. It’s hard because I don’t know her so I have no idea what her normal behavior is. I put her in the barn dry lot last night which gave her much more interaction with my boys. Now they are all in love and screaming for each other.

She’s at 357 days and normal gestation is 340. Apparently she went to 372 with one of her previous foals so who knows if she’ll even have it while she’s here.

Hope you STU folks have a fun weekend! Saturday looks amazing weather wise. Maybe that will dry your gear out before you pack up.

Well done! That’s an impressive leap to go from BEAST to today’s word. I need to use BEAST more often. It’s much more fun than my usual go to of LEAST.

Good luck with the baby watch! That baby says “It’s all warm and toasty in here, I ain’t goin’ no where!” 😉

  7. I guess that I should have known that the goddamn TPMS alarm would fire today. Fuck.

In Rutledge, tent is erected and the rain has started…
