Nothing to report today. Due to the heat I spent the entire day indoors, and unfortunately doing things — tv watching, internet surfing, book reading — on my couch.
Last night I tried to find more items for decluttering. While I have many things which could potentially be rid from the ITP Estate, I am starting to struggle with parting with them. I need to harden the fuck up and start being realistic.
I will be up for the 80 mile option of Wilson 100 on September 9th. Fear not, I will be ready to ride again on the 10th.

Always a problem with Wordle. My penultimate guess was laughable.
I hemmed and hawed while looking for a fourth Connections word to form my first grouping. Once I abandoned that thought process I solved it rather quickly.

Lunch today is going to be Brandi’s hot dogs over near Kennestone hospital. It’s a super small place, so we need to be there by 1120 or so to get a table (we hope we can get a table). They are spicy chili dogs – Annette has never been there, so we finally found a day that would work.
Oooh, hot dogs? Perhaps I will make a Publix run today and get hot dog buns so I can eat one for lunch tomorrow. I already have veggie dogs and sauerkraut.
Today was my first day with no mistakes on Connections! Woot!

I really wanted to be nerdy clever and group social media platform names (Mastodon, X, Threads), a purposeful trap set I’m sure, but couldn’t find a fourth candidate for my grouping.
My main issue was Misses and Busts, which are terms we women grew up using to describe girls’ clothing. Fortunately that was the last grouping.
Anyone want to guess what I will be eating for lunch today? Lol.

Hahaha, see my comment above. You may have just changed my shopping from Publix today, to Kroger tomorrow morning.
I did something right a month or so ago with that 4x coupon, after checking out on 7/30 I saw we had 698 points. Allan was on his way home from somewhere, I had him stop to spend $2 more so we could get up to 700 points – 70 cents off gas was fun!
This would be a good test of my Kroger account as I never seem to get discounted gas (more than the 3¢ for having a Kroger aground) even though I have over 100 points.
don’t’ try to get gas the same day – and I don’t think you can combine months – so if you have July points & August points, they are separate
Yeah. I was confused because I received an email telling me my points were going to expire, but when I went to buy gas to use them, they were recognized so I received no extra credit. No big deal really because my Kroger shopping has waned since I no longer go to the Glenwood Park store. Traffic over there is too frustrating these days.
I had a my once-a-quarter haircut last night after work which meant I couldn’t make dinner so we took Finn to Pure. Busy day at work today.
I’ve been complete failure at de-cluttering this week. I’ll try to get rid of something tonight!

Finn loves the shrimp tacos, Kevin and I are stuck on the barbacoa tacos these days. They also have great enchiladas.
I was just thinking, I might need to get a haircut again someday. It’s been about 2 months since my niece cut mine up in Iowa.
Realized again that an ebook/online course bundle I bought at the end of last September will expire in a month. I am in the process of downloading as much of the content so I can access it before that occurs.
I must have aquired a tape worm or something, because I am famished today. I had a Crunchy Gentleman already from The Buttery (an over the top ham and grueyere croissant) so I’m on my second breakfast, which is a giant cup from Smoothie King. I usually go all or much of the day without eating.
Had to look up The Buttery. Sounds like a place I’d enjoy.
It’s lovely. Your wallet won’t like The Buttery, but your stomach sure will.
I’ll have to do something that warrants treating myself.

My tape worm wanted lunch. It’s just ridiculous. At least I could declutter my fridge by eating some leftovers.
We went for a little walk (2.5 miles) – dang its hot & humid out there – at least there is a tiny breeze.

I can see that. They closed with this song last Friday night, which now feels like many moons ago. This has definitely been a year of living in fast times for me.
I would have guessed they opened & closed with that song. As it is their most popular one.
They did it justice. I can’t remember what they opened with, but they definitely closed big with that one.
Brandi’s Hot Dogs up here in Marietta have some SPICY chili dogs. Even with the slaw, my lips are still burning.

Woot! Great work! My passenger doors wouldn’t unlock for a minute this morning, but I did something with the door handle to get it to reset.

Time trial is almost over and its special hot hear. 95 says the car. I had turn around duty for the first 2 waves ( and out and back course) then starter, the bike check. Everyone is finished, almost.
I had done enough socializing yesterday so went to dinner alone a d found really good sushi in the middle of car dealer row in Martinez. Who knew?
