My mother died last night. Not much else to say.
I will be traveling today, so if I don’t get around to replying to comments in a timely fashion you know why. It’s going to be a busy couple of days for me.

Green – yellow – then fail.
Wordle in 5- my guesses weren’t bad, and never a letter in the wrong spot.
Wordle in 5 starting with MONEY. Just couldn’t get that 4th letter…too many options.
Connections with 2 mistakes in order, green, yellow, blue, purple. Obviously I didn’t get purple…it was just the last 4 left.
I got Connections in the same order with one mistake. One of them was an obvious red herring!
Fuck that stupid Conniptions shit. Wordle in 5, it was a roulette day. I had three correct letters in 2, and it took three more passes to close the gaps.
I failed at Wordle, I had every letter but the 4th one in 3 and flamed out guessing that 4th letter.
I’m so sorry Paulie. It’s a loss like no other. I’ll be thinking of you.

At Auburn vet school for Phinneys lameness issues. The lead vet introduced himself to me and as I shook his hand, I said “Roll Tide”. He didnt miss a beat, saying, “Sure, we can double the bill. I liked him immediately.

In an effort to keep this as normal as possible I have stopped at the Mexican restaurant south of Valdosta at which I have eaten on many Florida trips.

Found a crazy little Mexican taqueria for lunch.
We are now stuck in crazy traffic in the UC Santa Cruz campus.
This place is a lovely hilly campus, with no road options. Some protest has an intersection area shut down & the town is at a standstill.
But- Allan got his Banana Slug T-shirt – so he’s happy.
