Merry Christmas, friends!
Made my way down to Florida yesterday and proceeded to do a bit too much celebratory drinking.
It appears the brewery closures are not limited to Georgia. I discovered yesterday that Clearwater Brewing Company closed up shop in August.
I’ve had some interesting Wordling the past few days. After scoring another deuce on Saturday, I started with GRAZE yesterday and nearly thought I scored an ace. Four more guesses later, I hit upon GRACE. Today I nearly whiffed as I got into a battle and finally pulled it out in the end. I’ve had not had a single yellow tile in the past four days, it’s either been right or wrong.

Merry Christmas Paulie and to the Blog readers. I will be driving to Rockmart this morning to pick up mom and take her to my brothers for Christmas lunch/dinner. I’ll miss having Christmas at my friend Kim’s house with her 4 kids. It’s always a fun time with many laughs. But it will be nice to spend it with mom this year. Who knows how many more she’ll have.
Had a lovely day yesterday starting with a Walkabout in Buckhead with Stacy and Barb. Finished a puzzle. Did laundry. Delivered some gifts and then finished the day off with a prime rib dinner at Barb and Allans. Taste tested several different ports while there. The prime rib melted like butter.

Friday, Debbie made a mushroom risotto with shrimp- the biggest tiger shrimp I’ve ever seen.
I got 25 miles Saturday on the CX bike and felt really good. Enough to sprint for the KOM at the finish.
A lot of Christmas movie watching yesterday with a bit of 2 mile run walk.
Currently watching Derry Girls on British Bake-off. Very funny.

I had a super chill weekend. Saturday we all went for mani-pedis and then to the Albert for our one big meal. Yesterday we went to Murphy’s for fancy Christmas Eve dinner. They were still serving their brunch menu so Finn had the pancakes. Why not? In between all this we watched a bunch of Christmas movies. This morning we got up and Finn had a great time opening his presents. Now we are awaiting our plane to Mexico.
