Nothing really to report today. I wasn’t feeling great after returning home in the morning so my productivity went to zero as I rested all afternoon. I ate too much last night because I was hungry shortly after getting home from Betsy’s, so I finished up some leftovers.

Today is my last day to get prepared for my upcoming trip. I don’t know how the time has arrived and I’m not completely ready to go, but it is what it is. It is my intention to get an hour in on the trainer prior to taking it off the trainer, putting the road wheel back on, and getting it ready for transport tomorrow.

Wordle: three, my starter was DRIFT
Connections: one mistake, Green > Blue > Purple > Yellow

Wordle in 5. I had 3 letters in the correct spot but way too many words it could have been. Just a guessing game at that point. No mistakes in Connections. I would not have guessed green. I had to look one of the words up. Yellow, Blue, Purple, Green.

Heading up to Duluth tonight to see Songwriters in the Round: Amelia White, Carter Sampson and Michelle Malone at the Red Clay Music Foundry. Should be a fun night. Will probably hit up the Truck and Tap prior to the show.

I love that I am no longer reporting where I went to dinner last night every day. Because we had leftovers! And I got home from work and put my pajamas on!

We are re-watching season 4 of Virgin River so we can finally watch the new season 5. Kevin is absolutely hopeless at soap operas. He cannot keep up with who everyone is and what drama occurred previously. I have to explain everything to him. I am hoping when we get to season 5 he will at least remember 4.

  3. Not feeling swell, but am going to try to get on the trainer before lunchtime.

Good games day for me. Wordle in 2 using my standard starter REACT. Perfect Connections yellow-purple-blue-green. Yellow was easy, purple just made sense to me, blue lined up well and green was just the leftovers.

Florida trip in April is shaping up nicely, turns out we will be in the area for a car race I have been wanting to see. Full week of Florida shenanigans should fill up my Florida man punch card 🙂

Hope you are feeling better Paulie!

This F1 fans wants to know which car race you’re going to?!

      • Bob says:

This is 100% Florida man redneck racing. There is a youtuber I follow that bought a track in Bradenton and he has invited a bunch of other youtubers that I follow to race crown vics in a 100 lap race at his track. There will be racing, monster trucks, burnouts, and all the other redneck stuff I love.

        • Jenka says:

Not kidding, I would absolutely love that. All of it!

          • Bob says:

Check out Cleetus McFarland on Youtube. Some fun content.
I went to Bristol TN a couple years ago to an event he put on, there was even a trophy truck race at that one. Good times!

Jesus! I thought it was enough to have my redneck card punched when I went to Talladega! Apparently, I only scratched the surface.

Jenka- Clearly you are a Southener.

          • Jenka says:

Plenty of rednecks up north, too! The first F1 Grand Prix is in Watkins Glen, NY (which I have driven!) and it’s currently owned by NASCAR.

Wordle in 2 using SPARE! Clean connections.

  6. Barb says:

with react & spare as clues-
    Wordle in 2 as well!

  7. Wordle is too easy if all of you lot are getting deuces. *smooch*

Prior to my third guess I thought “What is the most mundane word I could play now.” and got it right.

Wordle in 3 and one mistake in Connections – yellow, blue, purple, green. I had never heard of spit. We were a gin rummy family.

Watching Imposters last night and I thought one character looked a lot like Uma Thurman. It was in fact Uma Thurman and she plays a fun character. We’re both enjoying the series.

About to take the new kid for his maiden trail ride. One of my friends with a steady Eddy trail horse is babysitting us. Fingers crossed that Cash enjoys ambling around seeing the sights.

  9. If you need/want a new camping chair now is a good time to buy one at Target. I just purchased a Coleman chair, like the one I have already, for 70% off the original price; I paid $13.49 for it today.
